Wendy, We have had this problem on AIX systems with HSM, on Digital Unix
with backup and others have reported it with archive. It's APAR IC13320
and is usually accompanied by ANR9999D smexec.c(3129) in the server
activity log. I believe the fix for this might be included in PTF 8.
