Hi,

The password file is in /etc/security/adsm/ for AIX in
/etc/adsm/ for other unix platforms.  The name is taken
from the stanza name (identified by 'servername') in dsm.sys.
(BTW, the next PTF will honor a PASSWORDDIR option that will
allow a choice on where the password is placed - this does work
in the current PTF but for the command line only.)

As far as I know, the only time ADSM removes this file is
when a password authorization failed - i.e. the password
file contains an invalid password.  It is protected by
