Bill,
You seem to have some knowledge of the MVS V2 server - our shop
isrunning the same. Our tape management system is CA-1 - how do we
manage retention periods for tapes - at the moment we manually
declare our disater recovery copies as "PERMANENT" and then manually
release them later.
A reply from anyone who can help would be useful - the local IBM
support reaction has not been very helpfull - as in we'll have a look
at it - 6 months ago!!!
