 Hi,

 we have come across a problem with ADSM, that I would like to report to
 you all out there.

 Our environment is:
 - hardware: RS/6000 R30
 - software: AIX version 4.1.4.0
             ADSM client version 2.1.0.3 / 2.1.0.4
             ADSM server version 2.1.0.7
 The problem occoured, when we upgraded the ADSM server from version
 2.1.0.4 to 2.1.0.7. The bug has been reported to IBM, and I was told,
 that the same or a similar error existed in an earlier version of the
 ADSM server.

 The problem is, that data can be ARCHIVEd on the ADSM server, but when
 one tries to RETRIEVE the data, the following message appears on the
 screen: "ANS3162I No files match specification."

 The error can be circumvented by using a retention period for the
 archived data of 1326 days or less (the parameter "RETVer" in the
 "DEFine/UPDate COpygroup" command). Values of 1327 to 9999 for this
 parameter will prevent you from being able to RETRIEVE your data.
