The DURATION setting only indicates when the scheduled event can begin.
In other words, if you're event starts at 6 PM and has a duration of 5
hours, then the event can start anywhere from 6 PM to 11 PM. However,
once the event starts, it will run to completion (or until some external
influence causes it to stop, i.e. someone cancels the session).
