The first time you run with the upgradedb parm the server will do the
upgrade very quickly, and then shut itself down.  Then you can start it
with the normal production jcl without the parm.

I think it would be a good idea if you made a small V1 test server and
tested the upgradedb process on it.

I am in the process of migrating from ADSM server V1 to V2.  My server
in MVS.  I am using ADSM V1 to V2 MVS conversion Project Plan Worksheet
given by local IBM.  Step no. 8: Start server with upgradedb parm first
time only. Does this mean after the upgrade completed, I need to
shutdown and start again with this parm.
