Thanks for the info - this indeed seems to be the problem. Upon further
investigation, it seems that it is further compounded by the fact that we also
have LE/370, and it is installed in the LinkList before the C library.
However, we have a change scheduled to reset the parms and pick up the correct
time.

I think I have seen similar gripes before, but the person who supports C here
thinks that it should be changed to pick up the system's local time instead of
recapturing the time itself - why redo the same calculation that MVS has alrea
dy done? At best, you'll just come up with the same answer, and in many cases
such as this one, you just get a wrong answer and a lot of confusion. But
that's an APAR for C/370.......

Thanks for the help

Jerry,
If you're using C/370, it sounds as though time is not configured
properly. Check the values for DSTSTM and DSTSTW (I think they should be
DSTSTM=4 and DSTSTW=1).  Also, check out  APARs PN49292 and PN70857 (sup's
PN49292).

When we reset our MVS system clocks this weekend, we not only went to
Daylight
Savings time (from Daylight wasting time?) but also switched to GMT as our
system's time, with the corresponding time offset info in Parmlib. Now,
when
you do a D T command on MVS, it shows you both GMT and the correct DST
(eastern for us), but ADSM is using GMT only. All info in the logs is in
the
future, and all of our schedules are kicking off 4 hours early.

I remember seeing something about this last year, but can't find anything in
the manuals that says what to do about selecting to use GMT or EDT. Can
anyone shed some light (pun intended) on what needs to be done?

BTW, the server is at V2.1.0.2
