EXPINTERVAL is found in the ADSM Server options file. The options available
when you set the interval are to either set it to an integer value (say 24),
and the expiration process will kick off when you start the server, and then e
very 24 hours after that. Setting the interval to 0 sets the procesto manual,
and then you must enter the EXPIRE INVENTORY command to start the process.
There are no options to the command - once it is entered, the command is
executed. If you are running a version 1 server (the only option if you are
VM) then you must use an external schedule program to input the command.
Version 2 servers have a scheduler for administrative commands built in.

Hope this helps.

What is the command to change the expiration interval? I want to set
it to 0 so it will not execute and then change it on the weekend so
it will execute. If I change it to 8 hours on Sunday, when will it run?
Eight hours from the time it was changed, or eight hours from the
time the server was started?
