I have spoken with the ADSM development manager that owns the ADSM API.
Interoperability between the ADSM API and ADSM backup/archive clients
is a known requirement, however, it is prioritized on the list of
requirements along with the other items on the list.  One way to ensure
that your prioritization is understood is to have your IBM rep enter
a formal requirement using the REQUESTS application on their HONE system.
The ADSM technical council reviews all these requests and provides a
formal response.
