Hmm, Digital has an interesting product out called FX!32 for running
32bit native x86 Windows and NT applications on its Alphas.  I wonder
if anyone has tried it yet with ADSM?  Is ADSM fully 32bit, with the
exception of the installation program?  Of course, I wouldn't put
money on it working but, it would be a nice short-term solution if it
did work.

Personally, a command-line only client is acceptable to me, not
preferred but, acceptable if it's the difference between having a
client or not.
