Sorry if I'm being dense, but I'm not sure what you're saying above. Can you
clarify?

The latest code *does* display a short message indicating whether the backup
was successful. When I QIP-tested the Notes agent, I gave similar feedback
to IBM, to which they seemed receptive. It would be nice to see some kind of
progress indicator similar to what the current backup/archive clients do.
