After seeing the discussion on AUDIT, this looks like something that I could
do to get around the *bad* blocks on the tape.

So,

Can IBM tell me whether an AUDIT VOLUME xxxxx FIX=YES will invalidate the rest
of the data on the 4MM tape after incountering a bad block(s), or discard the
files at the bad block(s) and go on?
