Here is some info to answer a previous question about backing up Lotus Notes
databases on an HP platform.....
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
You can use the ADSM HP backup/archive client to back up
You can use the ADSM HP backup/archive client to back up
Lotus Notes databases (.NSF files), as well as the system
configuration files (such as NOTES.INI). The ADSM backup/archive client
backs up the entire .NSF file, not individual documents within the database.
There is a method you could use to restore individual documents, such as
restoring the entire .NSF file to an alternate path and then copying the
the particular documents you want to the original .NSF file.

The new ADSM Lotus Notes support, called the ADSM Lotus Notes Backup Agent,
is for OS/2 Lotus Notes servers and clients only. It does an incremental
back up of individual documents in the Lotus Notes database.

We are in the process of finalizing a redbook on Using ADSM to Back Up
Lotus Notes, SG24-4534, which will be orderable November 1st. It may
be appropriate in many environments to use a combination of ADSM
backup/archive clients and the Lotus Notes Backup Agent. If you are on
a non-OS/2 platform, such as you are with HP, your only option is to use
the ADSM backup/archive client for that platform.

The ADSM server can be any supported platform, either V1 or V2, whether you use
the backup/archive client or Note Backup Agent.

Hope this answers your questions...let me know if you have any other questions,
