Katherine,

The easiest way to migrate db/log disks is:

DEFINE new db/log volume which is at least as large (in MB) as the
volume(s) you wish to delete. Don't EXTEND the db/log yet!

DELETE old db/log volume(s). The server will move the data to the
  new volume.

If you defined the new volume to be larger than all of the deleted
volumes, you can now EXTEND the db/log to use the additional space.

Note that you can combine volumes with this method as well. For example,
if you had two 100 MB volumes, you could define a single 200 MB volume,
and simply by deleting the 100 MB volumes the contents will be moved to
the new volume. Moves such as this must be done serially.

To migrate storage pool volumes:

DEFINE new storage pool volume.

UPDATE the access to the volume being removed to read-only.

Use the MOVE DATA command to move the contents off the volume.
