The NetWare ADSM client does not decompress the files before backup.
We use Novell's SMS services to open, read, and write data sets.
These api's interact with the OS so that the decompression doesn't
occur.

We currently support the 4.01 NetWare OS. We will support 4.02 as
soon as it GA's.
