SUBJECT: TMSTMSTV-08 volser EXPIRE IGNORED, NOT EXTERNALLY MANAGED
We've just started running reclamation on ADSM tapes and have run into a
problem. We're running CA1 5.0 with MVS DFP 3.3. We set the expiration date of
99365 for an ADSM tape (and we can tell that is working correctly). We have
also set DELETIONEXIT ARCTVEXT in the server options file. When a tape is
reclaimed, the tape is removed from the storage pool, but we get the message:

TMSTMSTV-08 volser EXPIRE IGNORED, NOT EXTERNALLY MANAGED

TMS does NOT put the tape back into scratch status. It appears as if the
EDM flag is not being set.

For the member TMOEDM00 we have the following:

 EDM=HSM,DSN=HSM.-,PGM=ARCCTL
 EDM=HSM,DSN=BHSM.-,PGM=ARCCTL
 EDM=ADSM,DSN=ADSM.-,PGM=ARCCTL

Should ARCCTL be the PGM?? The TMS doc is very ambigious as to what should
be placed in this field.

Are we missing something else that's obvious?
