Thinking about the server and client versions, I'm a bit confused.
Perhaps someone would be kind enough to straighten me out.

I have a VM server Ver.1 Rel.1 and V1R1 clients to match, however there
now exists the V1R2 servers for RS/6000 and PS/2's and V1R2 clients to
match.  Why are all the servers not at the same level, or will this
occur at a later date?

I gather that the V1R2 clients will work with both the V1R1 and the
V1R2 servers, correct?

Will the V1R1 clients work with the V1R2 servers?

Is there any reason not to go ahead and get the V1R2 clients even
though I have a V1R1 server?  I'm not sure there is a reason to actually,
unless the V1R1 clients won't work with a future V1R2 VM server.
Installation and updating of clients is such a bear for me, I'd rather
go ahead if there was even a slight gain in doing it.
