I need help about SAN Data Gateway (in LTO 3583). Accidentally the boot parameters were overwritten through the service port. Can anybody tell what should be the boot parameters of SDG? Thanks in adv

Eric, Thanks for your answer. You can manage the SDG through the service port (serial port) by e.g. HyperTerminal. While the SDG is starting you have a chance to stop the procedure by pressing a key.

The SAN Data Gateway does not support the LTO. According to IBM you need the SAN Data Router.

The key there is you are using the router (R03) the Gateway (G07) is not supported.

The 2109-S16 is a SAN switch. You connect 2108's, devices with native fibre support, and/or servers to the switch.
