I've been looking through the list archives for information on how to overcome the problem of restoring NT long-named files on a Netware server; i.e. the names are truncated on backup to 8 characters

Make sure that you are running TSA410.NLM and TSANDS.NLM on the source and target servers. Make sure that Long file name ( also known as OS2 ) name space has been loaded on the target server. I have

Peter, The issue is not whether ADSM will restore the long names. It will. The problem is that the name you are presented under the Netware client is an 8.3 name and bears little resemblance to the f

While we are at it.... I agree to everything said so far and here is another goodie - When I do a full volume restore sometimes I get duplicate folders and files for example: The file backed up is :
