I don't understand. Normally when you upgrade on UNIX the command window shows only a series of dots being put to the screen as the install proceeds. So how to you know what command is being run? Wha

Has anyone out there done this? I am still running the same command &#8211; I am about ready to abort this and restore from tape if NV won&#8217;t start for me. I am now at 1:45 for this one command.

If you tail -f the /tmp/update.log, you can see when you are running one of the many customize (or other types) scripts. You can then use the ps command to find it, and its pid. You can then follow t

That's what was happening.............................................................. I have since stopped the install and done a restore to bring up the 7.1.1 system - I will give it another shot
