I just had Quantum set up two SDLT 320's in an M2500 tape library. The tech told me they were only good for 16 MB/s each. I am only getting about 8 or 9 MB/s together. My server is running Windows 20

We've got a similar setup, and we're seeing more along the lines of 25-35mb/s to our SDLT320 drives. That's with compression turned on, so the tech is right, the raw speed to tape is probably just 1

We have just configured some SDLT 320 Drives and are seeing a speed of around 11-14MB/s. SDLT supposely can write at a rate of 32MB/s (with compression, of course). I am wondering some of your guys o
