Yes, but it isn't necessarily a straight forward process. The tool we use is DELETE VOLUME (volume_name) DISCARDDATA=YES, BUT, and that can be a big obstacle, we only want to delete data that belongs

Not directly. You can delete (at your own risk) the copy volumes with the unwanted node. The next backup storage pool will "recopy" the other data that was deleted. We have done this when nodes have
