This was the output of the tapetype program after running for several hours (maybe close to 8 hours or so). I then included this in my tapetype defination in amanda.conf. But when amanda ran yesterda

The "dumps too big" variant comes from Phase 2, when a full dump is due, but planner wants to postpone it and do an incremental instead, to fit all the DLEs onto the tape. In the case of a new disk,
