Bill, You cannot dsmfmt a logical volume. All you need to do now is to: define logvol /dev/r?????. Then 'extend log megabytes'. Then 'reduce log megabytes' (size of logvol created with dsmfmt) You ca

You can use raw logical volumes, but the TSM developers recommend you don't. What most poeple do, to control whch physical disks get used, is: -create a new LV (here, you can specify which disk) -cre
