Hi, I have been experiencing problems with some backups lately. Is there a way to tell amanda NOT to delete a dump from the holding disk after running amflush? Thanks, Adam

Don't think so, but if you make hard, not symbolic, links to the dump files the amflush will only be removing one of the two links, the data will remain, available under the new link name. -- Jon H.

Not currently, although I've been thinking of adding an amanda.conf entry along the lines of "rm_holding_file" that would be a callout to a program to actually remove the file. The default would be
