Hi There, We have a bunch of Solaris HA (clusters). We want to run two DSMC SCHEDULES, one to backup the local system, the other the backup the 20 odd filesystems that can float between the HA nodes.

Hi Andrew, you can't have two DSM.SYS, but you can define different groups of options within one, e.g.: SERVERNAME OBJ_LOCAL SCHEDLOGNAME /var/log/dsmsched.local.log ERRORLOGNAME /val/log/dsmerror.lo

You can have more than 1 scheduler. If you create a script that sets your environment variables and starts the scheduler looking at a different startup directory that contains a different dsm.sys and
