I am looking for a way to have our tape librarians monitor TSM in real-time for tape mount requests. It would be helpfull for them if there were a way to color code different events. Does anyone have

Joshua, Yeah, we've done that for them. They complain that they don't see them because the output is b&w. They're mainframe guys who are used to having a big LED panel with color coded messages. Any

You can start an administrative client session in "mount mode" dsmadmc -id=yourid -pa=yourpassword -mountmode And if you want to color the messages, you may use/program a "filter" to catch the messag
