You can run a preview of what data will be backed up to the copy stgpool, & then launch the acutal backup copypool command. The preview will give you the amount of data that needs to be backed up fro
what i do is run the -prev=yes -wait=yes options, capture the total amount of bytes to be backed up, then when the backup is actually running i run a small script to query the backup sessions, captur
