On Netware 6.0 & 5.1 we do not see the second cpu being used during the backup. Tiovli says it's due to the SMS API's that they are using not being capable of multi-cpu. I don't know about NW6.5. - C

I can only guess about TSM on windows, but my guess would be that TSM uses all CPUs available when needed. TSM on AIX uses a lot of CPUs if available and nessesairy. TSM has over 100 threads, most of
