Hi , I have never backed up our Windows 2003 ITSM Server 5.2.2.0 before. I am considering backuping it up via the Backup/Archive client ? What should I backup and why ? Any obvious stuff that I shoul

Don't backup the tsm data base, log, or storagepools with the tsm backup client. The data base should be backed up with a BACKUP DB command which also clears the log. The storagepools should be back

Bill, we backups all TSM servers, all local file systems incrementally, except DB's, logs and storage pools as they are all saved on tapes with processes like "backup db" and "migrations, backup stgp
