Shukie, You probably don't want to hear this, but this is why you should always have that 500MB log file ready to be allocated, and immediatly deallocate it when the condition has beed cleared. I bel

Consider -exactly- how much log you have. I've pulled my fat out of the fire before with a 1MB log extension. After that experience, I made sure that I never never never added the last ~100M worth of

looks like you have a bad DB backup tape. Clean the heads and try it again. If it fails, go back to the previous backup tape. Steve I did a restore db ... then ... some weird message came out .. what
