OK, that sounds pretty reassuring - I'd forgotten about the 'choose a day' option for amflush ... there won't be much change on the disks over the extended weekend, since there will no-one doing any

On Mon, Apr 14, 2003 at 11:31:51AM +0100, Dave Ewart enlightened us: amflush gives you a choice of dates to flush, so when you get back on tuesday, stick "friday's" tape in, and flush friday's dumps.

When you run amflush and it finds more than one session in the holding disk, you can select which session it flushes. If one session is a tape full, then just flush them in 2 runs of amflush starting
