Thanks to you guys (and ladies) I solved first half of my problem. I set up second instance of TSM on my test server, and backup sets on virtual volumes work just fine. Second half of the problem is:

I do not know any way of doing that. You will have to do your restore from the TSM server. The same way you expire any other backupset. See HELP GEN BACKUPSET and look at the details on the RETENTION
