err i should mention, your portrange statements shouldn't overlap the actual services....IE a port range of 10080-10083 is not a good idea since amanda uses those udp ports. This will limit you effec

[amanda network traffic] I don't know for sure, but i think, amanda won't bind to a specific from-port. Normally the kernel choses a high (semi-)random port. But you can still build your firewall rul
