David You are correct, 3590s are Fibre Channel supported through the IBM SAN Data Gateway (OEMed from Pathlight I think it was). I have sent out a couple of SAN proposals to for a couple of customer

Keith, Would you know if the customer is using 64 bit extensions with AIX 4.3.3. We testing a similar config but the 64 bit extensions forced us to use Cambex instead of Emulex. Emulex does not have

I think we're still working on 64 bit version of the Emulex driver. As far a IBM not having support for "switched fabric and tape and their adapter", I'm not sure what you mean. Are you talking about
