The problem is intermittent, when netmon crashes it cores and is in exit 6 status. I spoke w/support and they recommended I patch my installation to FP04 I am currently @ FP01. I know it is not recen

Mike, while your NetView server (hardware and software) is stable and runs and runs with no problems, your network is not stable. So eventually Netview will discover a device which can have some MIB

Mike.. Diving a little deeper into Steves note, if you run a trace on netmon, you should see where netmon runs into trouble. I ran into a similar situation, and was able to quickly correct the issue.
