The best approach must be: 1) Be sure that your ACSLS is in a clustered environment, cause its is going to be a critical service for whole operation to work 2) Upgrade all your media servers to 6.5.3

we have an 8500 as one acs and split it among two nb environments (1 6.0mp6 and 6.5.3). we were not able to split the lsm's up yet to make two libraries out of the 8500. instead, we use ACSLS' volume

I applied also one sl8500 with acsss_config based on volume ownership and watch vol utility . I separate it for 2 domain backup nb 5.1 & 6.5 . and until today running smoothly . Salam Yoseph From: X_
