Mitch IF it fails, the idea behind the checkpoint flag (or marker) is that Netbackup will look at the images and verify the last checkpoint it made. If it is present, Netbackup will start the backup

I haven't seen it work properly yet. I've got windows 2k3 boxes with 1/2 TB or so, that can get to 97% complete, die with a 156, then start over from scratch. Checkpoints set for every 15 minutes. Pa

More surprising I've seen that if you have allowed multiple stream ( have multiple drive letters in same windows policy) When job reruns picks up entire server backups ( all the streams in same job)
