Here is a script that lists all tapes with retension periods for offsite storage. It lists barcode, date, whether its full or has space left on tape and the retention period. I hope this helps. DATE=

If all images are expired (and the tape isn't frozen) then it will become unassigned. bp* commands won't show this (e.g. bpmedialist). Use vmquery -w If the assigned date is 00/00/0000 00:00 then it

All expired tapes will be shown in output of '/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/goodies/available_media' as AVAILABLE. Ying If all images are expired (and the tape isn't frozen) then it will become unassigned
