Hi all, My question involves BarCode rules - I'm trying to setup a rule that will separate tapes based on numbering in a similar fashion: 001000-001499 -> volumepool1 001500-001999 -> volumepool2 002
The tags are the strings at the beginning of each barcode. For example, all my 9840 tapes start with A, so the tag in the rule is A. My DLT tapes start with B, so the tag is B. I'm not sure if you ca

I was told by Veritas support that you cannot do numeric ranges for barcode rules - i.e., you can't say "number X through number Y". That sucks. Barcode rules are based entirely on prefixes. One tric
