Hi, is it possible to backup Solaris 9 clients with Netbackup Datacentre 3.4.1? I presume I need the appropriate client software but the latest Solaris OS I have under /usr/openv/netbackup/client/Sol

You can back it up as Solaris 8. If you look under /usr/openv/netbackup/client/Solaris you will find Solaris7 & Solaris8 are links to Solaris2.6. If you create a similar link named Solaris9 it will a
/usr/local/webapp/mharc-adsm.org/html/Veritas-bu/2003-10/msg00221.html (12,152 bytes)

Hi Philip, Thanks for that I have installed the client and it works fine. You can back it up as Solaris 8. If you look under /usr/openv/netbackup/client/Solaris you will find Solaris7 & Solaris8 are
