A agree. Scalar 1000 good. ;) What I really like is its scalability. You can start with ~250 slots, and expand up to ~1000. You can also get the option of adding more drives as you buy more cabinets.

That's an AIT thing, not a SCALAR thing. It's one of the reasons that I don't use AITs for heterogeneous SANs. My requests to SONY to give me a Least Common Demoninator DIP switch setting have never
