I have PTR records for all my hosts as well as multiple A-records (central DNS server and AD A-record for domain membership). I don't believe Windows 2008 Domain Servers depends on WINS, its appears

I have both WINS and DNS settings for the NetWorker Server. However, the domain controllers don't have a WINS entry. I will be rolling my own WINS server in the next few weeks. Utilizing a hosts file
