The client is running on windows but the subfolder names are all less than 20 characters long, nowhere near the 255 limit... however when you say path length do you mean the entire: \\dcuser\users\us

I checked for that earlier and there is no rule causing any directories or files to be skipped... Verify that no client or server based directives are causing those files (or folders) to be skipped.

These files were not open, and legato even skipped the folders not just the files. On top of that Legato reports nor errors on any backups for the pat 2 months. ________________________________ Hello

Make sure that the permissions on the folder are set to allow the backup user (sometimes it's not LOCAL SYSTEM) access to the files and directories there. We had a group that was convinced their data

There is nothing showing up in the savegroup log? I have set the NO_SUPRESS on (not sure of the syntax, but there are numerous posts) and it shows everything that is skipped, that may shed some light

Believe it or not, create a blank file called "NO_SUPPRESS" (no ending of .txt, etc...) in /nsr/debug or "C:\Program Files\Legato\nsr\debug". I'd recommend doing that and then a savegrp -vvvv -c clie

I hadn't thought of this, but Robert is right. Sometime a GUI bug or a strange filename can futz up the GUI. Have you tired the command line version (recover) and seen if you can chdir to the missing

I meant yes, try the command line recover and don't just cd to the directory but type it out for recovery..ie: add D:\dcuser\users\username\subfolder1\subfolder2\myfile Changing the browsetime helps
