client I want to look at and click Instances, a list of all the save sets comes up. The first column lists the tape ID, is there anyway to take that tape ID and convert it into the volume number? mmi

I believe that's the SSID you're seeing there, not the volume id. So the command would be: mminfo -q "ssid=2678424577". Note that the easiest way to get to the volume id is perhaps to use the Saveset
