Diwakar, Restore and recovery have to be launched from the client side. It does not make sense to schedule a restore. For performance issue, there is lot of options, you can allocate more channels on

Dear All I got in other problem that I am able to fire a RMAN oracle backup from client side and it works fine. But I am not start backup from Server side that command not found. It always gives Erro

Any backup command configured in the backup command field of the client resource must reside in the same directory as the save command and the file name must begin with save or nsr. Dear All I got in

Do you mean I have put the command: /export/home/oracle/nsr_simDB Or save:/export/home/oracle/nsr_simDB. nsr_simDB is my command file. Because when I give this /export/home/oracle/nsr_simDB Give erro

Hi Diwakar, No, what you must do is copy the nsr_simDB file into the same directory that has the NetWorker "save" command. This is typically /usr/sbin. You then have the executable in the client conf

Diwakar, You have to put the nsrnmo_simDB script in the same directory as save (/usr/sbin if you are running Solaris /opt/networker/bin if HPUX). The backup command has to be set to nsrnmo_simDB and
