We've got a storage node with several advanced file type devices. We have a script that will clone these backups to tape so that we can take them offsite. We'd like to keep the disk copies as long as

Yes, but staging would not allow us to keep a copy onsite and send a copy offsite. We need the ability to copy the data (ie, clone) and then delete at a later date. BUT, we also want to delete only w

But don't watermarks come into play only with staging? We're not using staging. We're cloning. Am I missing something? As far as native OS utilities, we could ssh between the NW server and storage no

Hello, The watermarks enforce how networker handles cleaning up saveset based on the policy you set, perhaps a simple script with email form nsradmin on how close are you to the watermark may work fo

Chances are if you are looking for a useful piece of reporting information it won't be in Networker natively. But don't watermarks come into play only with staging? We're not using staging. We're clo

Hi, I don't use staging or AFTD Devices any more , but if you were to look at the policy, you can still use the logic say, max storage period, recover space interval and file check intervals to retir
