Yes, a pool is a collection of media that fit (or normall reside on) that storage device. AFAIK Bacula doesn't do storage classes, like printers. So you can store a job elsewhere for whatever reason.

No, the volumes in a pool can be used in any storage device that has a matching Media Type. The Media Type is assigned to a volume when it is created. They must be unique. This might happen if the M
