ps aux | grep bacula should you show 3 process. netstat should also show you 3 process. Try the bacula-dir -t to see any error in your conf which should break the starting. Otherwise, documentation +

Hi LDB and Bruno, Something is wrong here and I can't find where is the problem. I run: "bacula-dir -t -c /etc/bacula/bacula-dir.conf" and the config file haven't any error because it pass the test.

it is listening on the localhost interface, or the loopback .. look at mine: tcp 0 0 *:bacula-dir *:* LISTEN yours cannot be reached at all .. Have it bind to the interface or IP where it will render

I would check if Director is still active - I saw it dying while it couldn't connect to database. But it seems that it's not that - so you need check bconsole.conf file, and SELinux settings - it is

I suggest you remove localhost and 127.0.0.1 from your bacula config and replace these with the external IP address otherwise bacula will only be able to communicate with the bacula server. John -- T
