Hello list, I'm looking for a way to search for files or directories (not contents) within a host or within certain hosts. Especially when restoring parts of a host this would be useful. Is there any

on backup server: cd /var/lib/backuppc/pc/<hostname>/<backupnum> find . | egrep -i "string1|string2|string3" You can omit the backupnum if you want to find the file in older backups, and/or omit the
/usr/local/webapp/mharc-adsm.org/html/BackupPC-users/2013-02/msg00015.html (12,476 bytes)
